How you can make a difference:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader Subledgers to manage our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. This role involves leading a diverse team comprised of two members in Switzerland and eight members in Romania, who are part of our in-house shared services team. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial operations and enhancing team productivity. The individual will also have GL Accounting responsibilities for one of our subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of both A/R and A/P teams, ensuring efficient transaction processing and financial management

  • Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures that meet company and regulatory requirements

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting

  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to facilitate integrated financial management

  • Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of growth and continuous improvement

  • Monitor team performance, providing guidance and feedback to ensure goals are met and standards are maintained

  • Address and resolve any issues that arise in the accounts receivable and payable processes

  • Responsible for all GL Accounting aspects related to one of our subsidiaries

That's what you bring along:

  • Higher business education (university/university of applied sciences) in accounting, finance, economics, or a comparable field of study

  • Several years of sound experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international company

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate and drive team performance

  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Very good knowledge of German and English

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage a remote and culturally diverse team
